These kids have become a huge part of my life and it is almost unbearable to think that I won't see most of them again. I never knew starting this career that my heart would grow x24! I have also been so very blessed with the absolutely BEST mentor teachers! They opened up their hearts and classrooms to me without hesitation. Being a teacher is a very busy job and they still found time to help, encourage, and motivate me to become the best teacher I can be! For that, I will be forever thankful. As, we know this week is Teacher Appreciation week. I love crafting so I took the opportunity and ran with it to make them each something special to show them how much I appreciate them!

For my first grade mentor, Mrs. Sanders I created this twig wreath with sunflower accents. She has been hinting all year long and pinning on her Pinterest board sunflower wreaths. She also knows I love making wreaths. She offered me many times to pay me to make her one, but I kept putting it off and making her be patient since I had this beauty in mind all semester! I am so glad that she loved it! I also used chalk pens for the first time and absolutely love them! So easy to write with and such bold color for chalk! I also wrote on the top in green, "Thank you for helping me bloom!"
This beauty is for my beautiful 4th grade mentor teacher, Mrs. Ball. I did not expect to be in a 4th grade Writing classroom this year but so glad I had the opportunity to learn and grow! I was able to use my creativity to help my students become better writers! Such an invigorating experience to be able to use your whole brain! Again, I used my fabulous new chalk pens and made a door hanger! I went with the mason jar theme since her name is Mrs. Ball, of course! And, mason jars are just awesome. Chic, functional, antique. Can't beat that! I found a blinged (sp?) out "B" monogram because it has Mrs. Ball written all over it! She is just fabulous.  I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed being in her class!
